It certainly is cute.They have them in the zoo on the Isle of Man & lie across the paths so you have to walk round them.

Purple Kitty, I have a friend that worked with the group that repaired cleft palates. She was in Ecuador and had some trouble with a young female patient. The patient was bleeding, a lot. After several days the bleeding stopped. So the patients family invited my friend to dinner. The main course was guinea pig. She smiled, said thank you and ate with gusto. Tried to think of it as miniature Capybara.

I love how their expression ever the babies is the same.

I watched one swim across a small tributary of the Amazon.

kind of good they are edible so the poor cattle get a break. Wonder what they taste like.
