What storm was called "Frankenstorm"?

I'm a Red Cross volunteer from Missouri & spent 2 weeks there sheltering people affected by that storm. One of the strange things we encountered was houses that faced the wind because of the snow..had no snow on the front roof..but 6-12 feet on the back. Many roofs caved in from the weight

I live in suburban Chicago and wasn't directly impacted. Do recall that it brought NYC and nearby areas to it's knees.

#3242847 Venice Queen, yes and our government seems not to care about fixing and replacing or rebuilding, and I remember because the food processing plant where I worked ,we worked 12 hour days 7 days a week to get meat to your area's when you needed it ,and I will never forget ,

Cranky Yankee, that's wrong. policies cover wind damage period. it doesn't matter if the storm is named or not. homeowners policies do not cover any flood damage.

An important reason to name storms is most homeowner policies will NOT play for damage caused by an unnamed storm. Thanks to the " Perfect Storm".

I live in Kansas and we.have tornados that do alot of damage.
