Which device is used to view distant objects?

I have a pair of binoculars for me enjoy looking outside when I am inside.

I don't have bincilars

Jan , ah, no surgery. But due to my family problem with eyes I suspect the same problem, naturally occurring.

My husband, a bird watcher, bought me my iwn pair so I could share his bird joy. I had strabusmus surgery in one eye at age four. At that time, early sixties, they severed the muscle that enables me to see 3-D and binicular vision. I technically only see out of one eye at a time, but shift rapidly between them.
