spam is also a hoax, as the second response indicates, "fake news", spam is "fake sales" or whatever the call or email is doing... it's fake.

BrainTek , This is another manifestation of the indoctrination that dominates our public school system. A mantra to chant when they don't understand the news or politics or government. Instead of expressing rage that they've been robbed of an education, they just chant, "Fake news," eat their pablum and go to sleep.

so many people just claim "fake news" nowadays to deny stuff that very evidently happened and perhaps more amazingly so many people - even those who witnessed this "fake news" - believe it's fake news!!!!

Internet hoaxes apparently live forever. There's even one on this, our beloved Quizzland. There's a question about elephants that uses an infamous hoaxed picture, an elephant cow strolling across the savanna alongside a lioness, and carrying in her trunk a lion cub. It is absurd as elephants and lions are natural enemies who kill each other on sight. The comments about the pic go on and on about how wonderfully gentle and lovable elephants are and isn't it lovely that they love each other so much. Clearly, all these people know about animals is what they've learned from the Disney Corp.

Nerak 7, you could try verifying the source of the information and examining their bias. AI and deep fakes make this difficult but not impossible.
