when I lived in the Netherlands for 2 years I was amazed at how any similar characteristics the uk shares with the Dutch. a royal family, a sea going colonising system with large navy to support it, a parliamentary democracy, make great cheeses and a good sense of humour.

The Dutch have always been brilliant.
