JezzerLX, millions of people practice yoga every day... and have done so for over 5,000 years. I've been a yoga teacher for 30 years or more and yoga day is a wonderful opportunity for yoga practitioners all over the world to share events and come together. Many of the events are fundraisers for charity so it's a win/win situation. And yes some people might get interested after seeing hundreds of people doing yoga together in the park on 21st June and take it up themselves... thus increasing the physical and mental health of said individual... would that be a problem? 😊 And you don't need a mat to do yoga... when I began they hadn't been invented!
