I VE ALWAYS WONDERED IF CONVERTING TO CHRISTIANITY WAS HER IDEA OR IF THE SETTLERS COERCED HER. ALSO HER MARRIAGE TO KOHN ROLFE.

Tommy T, Go to school in the Southern parts of the US, and you barely get past the Civil War! I did not know this stuff either, and I find it disgusting that Christians did this to her and still go around the world demanding people convert to their beliefs for their own satisfaction. The Native American's had/have the right way to live and respect the land.

I had no idea that Pocahontas was not her real name nor that she was baptised, sprinkled by the look of it. Thats the most interesting bit of American history I think I have heard, maybe ever. We get stories about wars but nothing interesting about real people outside of war. Or did she live in. War as well? Australians don’t get much American history, nor our own for that matter. More European stuff when I was at school. France, Germany, even Egypt but nothing very interesting. Mostly wars.

There they go again. killing a nation.

Player Say what!?, blame it on the good old Daughters of the Confederacy they white washed history so bad It's hard to know what to truly believe. There's a new group trying to do it now too
