What does Morse Code represent?

Dots and dashes, as in the explanation, would be a better answer then symbols and beebs.

I have seen a video of Morse code vs text race. A message was sent via Morse and text at the same time and Morse won.

Morse code does not use symbols. I challenge their correct answer. Morse code is long and short dashes of sound.
