Where was Ferdinand Magellan killed?

Fernao de Magalhaes was a skilled Portuguese naval officer that first offered his services to the King of Portugal but was deemed too risky of a voyage to the West, especially when compared with the newly discovered East sea routes to India( by Vasco da Gama). Deeply disappointed he arranged an audience with the Queen of the archenemy kingdom of Spain and was eventually selected by King Carlos I to search for a westward route to the Spice Islands (biggest commodity at this time, used to preserve food and improve taste). He commanded a fleet of five vessels and headed south through the unknown to the edge of the world and to Patagonia, naming the strait of Magellan and the peaceful sea (Pacific Ocean). Despite a series of storms and mutinies, they reached the spice islands in 1521 and return home via the Indian Ocean to complete the first circumnavigation of the globe. Magalhaes did not complete the entire voyage, was killed on the beach when protecting the rear of his crewman retreat to the boats in the Philippines in 1521. Sebastian del Cano his second did complete it alongside +-20 men. . He had already reached the Malay Archipelago on previous voyages at the service of Portugal. He was the first European to log the Penguin (Magellanic penguin) and his legacy is felt in the universe thru the Magellanic Clouds(dwarf galaxies)and Lunar and Martian craters, etc.

Bonus question for me as I am from the Philippines and I have visited the place where Magellan was killed.
