What is the cause of Type 1 Diabetes?

Seems there’s plenty of sources that set out what causes it, so seems this answer is wrong.

meatsackulations, people with type 1 have to inject them selves with insulin when their sugar levels are raised through for example eating too much sugary food. This can have a serious outcome if an injection is not given
