LibraLady1010, he also lost 40 pounds in a short period of time, which didn't help, plus the smoking, drinking, and insisting on doing his own stunts in 100 degree heat were most likely more ro blame than anything Monroe might have done.

I quit smoking august 2013, october 2013 I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Horrible chemo, lung radiation, even brain radiation. My advice: Stop smoking!

LibraLady1010, nobody but oneself can make you smoke.....Gable smoked his whole life; therefore, it was his own demise that he died, not Marilyn Monroe. Those who smoke run that risk.... I smoked and I would never blame another for my bad health/death due to cancer/heart attack sticks.

Smoking increases acid production and contributes to acid reflux disease, ulcers, and cancer. My gastro doc said it was more important for me to quit smoking than drinking. So I quit in 1997.

Clark Gable was 59 when he died of heart failure. Marilyn had nothing to do with that. She adored Clark and even slept with his picture under her pillow. She had had dreams in which Clark Gable was her father (whom she did not know). Sweet Norma Jean was 36 when she died.

And the general information was this is a great idea. This is a wonderful thing to do. Doctor say smoking cigarettes aids digestion.
