What is the strongest bone in the human head?

I'm guessing that we shouldn't be chewing with our scull bones. And if we shouldn't be chewing with them, maybe we shouldn't be using them as punching bags either. Just saying.

I’ve heard of people breaking their jaws. So then, are they breaking the maxilla? I figured it was the mandible that was breaking, ergo it was weaker. Obviously I got it wrong.
