Today, 12th June 2020, due to the killing of George Floyd, we have crowds of people pulling down statues and defacing objects that remind us of the past. it's wrong, the past has happened, you can't change it but please, leave the monuments so future generations will know what happened good and bad.

I always wondered why Hess got such a long sentence. He flew to Britain early in the war to broker peace. And people like Albert Speer just got 20 years and he was in the war until the end and did way more crimes

Funky Biker, History doesn't disappear when you bring down monuments dedicated to dead eras and dead bigots. We didn't forget Hitler when his statues were taken down. Most of those confederate statues were erected during the Jim Crow era as symbolic F yous to black Americans. Good riddance
