Living in the west, I sometimes steam Dungeness Crab with Old Bay trying to get that taste from when I was a kid... it's just not the same.
I miss the Chesapeake, I just explained to a cowboy the other day how you could only get crabs back east in months with an 'R' in them, and he looked at me like I had two heads.

Yvette Viator, I agree. Blue crabs aren't just from the Atlantic. We have them too down in the Gulf of Mexico. We typically like to boil them in NOLA but we also like to fry our soft blue shells. C'ests Bon!
