I loved Casey Kasem. I felt so bad for him, the last few years of his life his current wife did not allow his adult children to see him. His daughter started the Casey Kasem Foundation to change a law so that spouses can not keep children away from their parent.

Teslasgirl66, I found out after my husband died after surgery he had the beginnings of Lewys. He imagined people and a cat were in our home. The VA was calling it regular Dementia but they did an autopsy and diagnosed it. Robin Williams had just found out he had Lewys too when he killed himself. It’s sad.

I did not know anything about Lewy body dementia until Robin Williams got it, and then committed suicide. So this type of dementia had happened to Casey during the time that no one focused on it until Robin had it. I wished someone would’ve taken the time to find out about this debilitating and horrible disease at the time that Casey Kasem had it.
