There is still a night day cycle in both Antarctic and Arctic. The cycles are just longer/shorter than elsewhere

At first I Thought the answer was going to be Alaska and then I thought about the word Continent. Maybe that is why it wouldn’t be Alaska or Australia.

The question is correct- it says -‘in the usual sense’ means 12hr day and 12hr dark. In antartica- 6mths day(light) and 6mths dark.
