When we lived near Los Angeles we always watched the Rose Parade (the formal name is The Parade of Roses) on TV. The following day we drove to Pasadena to see all all the floats on display without the parts moving or the people on the float. The volunteers answered all our questions.

My favorite is the carnation, but my Mom loved Roses, I loved giving them to her for Mothers day, and just because, what she loved was the beauty of all different colors,which represented something by there color,I loved the pink ones, it didnt matter to her she loved them all, well except black roses that is! On mothers day in church, she would get the white Rose(because her mother had already passed) me and my sisters would get a red rose,, because our Mother was still living🙏🙏
