Ian, Daniel and Ezra were written in Aramaic. Most of the OT was written in Classical Hebrew. They are related languages, but Hebrew was more widely spoken. Some people are confused because JC spoke Aramaic, the language of the people where and when he lived. He would also have known Classical Hebrew, but not his everyday language.
