lesliehens02, u can actually make ginger juice. Peel and slice it then soak all those slices into a hot water in a pot. Heated it for exactly 15 minutes and let it cool. You can drink as it will herbal water which good flor inflammatory, bloated, stress etc. Hope this help.. another tip add some few lemons, slice it and put it together with the gingers and boil together.

By ginger juice I presume you mean ginger beer. When I was a child a big mixing bowl with ginger and other ingredients was passed from household to household amongst families of children going to the same school. We kept it for a week, enough to make quite a few bottles of the non alcohol drink and it was then passed onto the next family make some for themselves, never hear of this nowadays.
