Which traffic sign is in the picture?
Correct answer: Deer crossing
Player
I was driving on an unfamiliar road at night. It was dark and not lighted and a deer must have been in the road. Didn’t see it when it hit my car. There wasn’t a deer sign. Had damage to the hood of my car. Be careful about driving at night on country roads.
Nix
how do deers know to cross by that sign 🤔 😳 😃 😀
Tom
In Australia kangaroo signs are common.
But I have also seen wombat and koala signs.
I have driven on country roads a lot. Thankfully only hit one kangaroo, which died instantly. Anytime you hit an animal check it. Especially if it is a marsupial, if female, it might have a baby in its pouch.

Player, You don't need to be careful to avoid deer on public roads in England, because there wouldn't be any. When we were young, our car once hit a mesmerised rabbit after dark. My father-in-law skinned it the next day and they had it for dinner!
