Player Elf Council, couldn't help but think of the Disney Toy Story movie quote "That's not flying, it's falling..with style" 😂 but all in jest. I mean no offense at all. Just wanted to share the humor.

Wowie that is fast. I'm good with slow, lol, I don't think I wanna go that fast. 🤣 And I'm so glad that they gave the speed info in multiple types of measure so that everyone has a chance to grasp the concept without having to Google "how do you convert..."
Player Elf Council
Tincantitan1, He was the first to break it in level flight. British pilots had already broken it in a dive. It was done at our local airbase and I remember the boom as they did it. I believe at least one had died when he failed to pull out in time. They made a film about it... The Sound Barrier.

We had a sonic boom last month from aircraft rallying to escort an aircraft in need of help. It was so loud and it shook the house... sounded like really heavy thunder bolt

ironmage, well because the question says supersonic which means faster than the speed of sound many people don't read questions carefully so they go for light.

My dad worked on the fuel line for the Rolls Royce engines Concorde used. So proud. So sad she retired, especially when the accident was the fault of a Continental flight that landed prior to the take off.
