I loved David Niven in everything he did. Such a great actor. The epitomy of a quintessential English gentleman. His 2 books The Moons a Balloon and Bring on the Empty Horses are hilarious.

The 1967 version of Casino Royal was more of a comedy spoof because it was made outside the official Bond franchise.

Angel, If you've read any of the books your realise he is nothing like Bond. I have them all and in the very early ones there is no mention of him being Scottish. After the first film came out Ian Fleming suddenly had him being Scottish. Even he thought Sean Connery had nailed it.
