So many young men still in their teens volunteered to fight knowing they probably never would return home. They did it to preserve freedom. Decades late, but RIP. I've seen so many movies with actual footage of the invasion of France. it was terrifying to watch what they went through.

My father in law was one of the lucky ones who got to return. He never could talk about it. Bless them all.

My Dad fought in WWII and was in the navy for 20 yrs. I imagine that all our service members are rolling in their graves about what's happening now in the US. We must unite to fight the zealotry & extremism of the gop and save our democracy!! Vote blue all the way through!!
