I didn't like the movie but the TV series was great.

Wonderful, wacky brilliance in a very British way ! Best sequence in the series is where Ford Prefect is stranded all alone on a planet. He discovers a crystal clear lake that he hallucinates is a gin and tonic. He imagines that he is a lime and keeps jumping in and out of the lake. Superb scenario !

The best thing is that books, radio scripts, TV series and film are all different and so for a very long time here are new twists to enjoy and compare, Sadly it does not make up for the fact Adams died awfully young, and here is no more p come. I still have not read my copy of
