What year did a Titan II missile blow up in its silo?

The US has almost nuked itself at least 13 times, including dropping 2 armed nukes on North Carolina & unarmed nukes nationwide causing explosions and numerous fatalities, one is still lost in a river in the south (Georgia, I think), a bunch have caught on fire - but only a few have leaked nuclear radiation.

I didn't know that. I learn at least one new fact each time I play this game.
