Having grown up in Los Angeles, I've experienced many of them. I think I'd rather deal with earthquakes than hurricanes or tornadoes....

toothless beachrat, I have dealt with tornadoes, hurricanes but I have never have never dealt with a earthquake it scares me but to me a earthquake means being buried alive which I have been done several times in my life and no thank you

toothless beachrat, Oh not me! Live in Florida and of course I’ve been through my share of hurricanes. I’d rather deal with hurricanes than anything else because we have warning that they are on their way.

This is technically incorrect. An earthquake is a subterranean tectonic plate shift which has nothing to do with the surface, other than it eventually collapses topsoil.

so far...all the California earthquakes I have been in are not bad!! I would hate to be in the fires, tornados or hurricanes scary! 😧

I've never felt a earthquake

I live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. Now if u don't know where this beautiful place is on the map, it's in the Northwest pacific ring of fire, meaning there is alot of seismic activity within this ring. Subduction zones in particular and I live smack dab in the middle of one called the Juan de Fuca plate and Cascadian plate. I will definitely feel this mega quake and millions of others in my lifetime and quite honest I'm excited for this seismic moment I want to feel what a 9.6 earthquake feels like. But the Tsunami that comes after the earth shaking for about 8 to 10 mins is gonna be the scariest moment of my life. millions will die from this catastrophic event. Let's just hope that people are well prepared for it. It's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when and it's inevitable
