To all who are not citizens of the United States I apologize for my fellow citizens who do not appear to think before they type (I know I'm going to get it for this one). Some people just do not appreciate what they have. Please don't judge us all by the few you see playing this game. Our Constitution, along with its amendments, and other laws of our country, federal, state and local, are what helps us live together. They are there because those who govern know that people just simply have a hard time living together. Our prisons are full of people who took things too far away from our societal norms - broke our laws. One person seems to want anarchy as our norm. ????? Probably thinks the movies and new tv series "The Purge" is a good idea. The norm should be living together in peace and harmony, but I an not niaive enough to believe that will happen. That is why God gave the commandments to the Hebrews, and that is why we have a constitution and amendments and laws that go with it. So let people believe what they believe, and I will, too.

So I made some comments to various individuals' comments, but I feel that some to everybody are apprporiate right here. As fundamentally a conservative politically as well as spiritually, I am quite happy they put this question in. Questions like this generate a lot of discussion. In many countries people have the right to openly complain about their government, but in many more they don't! I am thankful that our founders had the vision to make these inalienable rights a part of our constitution. They are written so they cannot be arbitrarily dismissed by the government. It takes a vote to do it. We see how hard it is to change our gun laws because of the second amendment. Our (yours and mine, not our government's) constitution is a living breathing document that was always meant to grow with the country it governs. It was not meant to be stagnant, just like people, because if it ever got to be like that it would become irrelevant. But! We have to be smart with how we see and use the rights we are guarenteed. We have the right to bear arms, true! But that does not give us the right to kill people. We have the right to assemble PEACEABLY! But not to riot and destroy property, or injure or kill people in the process. So I have the right to believe in God just like you all do. I also have the right not to believe, just like you all do. Since I do believe, I have the right to worship God without being interfered by the government. And just look at how many other countries don't allow that.

TinyGinaHere, I agree that respect used to be taught. BUT, it was taught first in the home, by parents to kids,
Heartland Old Guy
TinyGinaHere, sorry, but republicans are as much to blame as democrats are for the mess this country is in right now. BUT still, with all its flaws, it is by far the best place on earth to live. Best in human rights, best for opportunities, best for freedoms, and best for our children and our children's children.

Montana Lady, are you sure FunkyMonkey only listens to conservative news? I gotta tell ya, conservatives are pelted with liberal news makers daily. It is actually refreshing to hear a truely conservative voice now and then. When I went to college in my 50's (yes in my upper 60's), I was appalled at the type of stuff being taught. But I coped because the schools I went to were liberal arts schools. Not conservative. But guess what, I was able to discuss topics from my conservative view point. The instructors liked my life experiences. Don't get me wrong, or put me in a box because I am fundamentally conservative, because I believe in change. If we don't change with new discoveries, new knowledge, and new inventions, we get left so far behind so quickly, well you know what I mean.

WhisperingRover91587, there are times and places for everything. Just because we can do something doesn't always mean we should. Just because we can call others names doesn't mean we should, or even that it is a good idea. Time for people who do to grow up, too.
IdiotMagnet
FunkyMonkey, because most people think that what they think/believe is the only truth. It's also known as having a closed mind. 😔

WhisperingRover91587, Abusing freedom of speech for hateful or racist language is not protected...Unfortunately, Mean-spirited, ignorant people don't know
that or care.
Player #2839558
WhisperingRover91587, freedom of speech is meant to protect people speaking out against their government without retaliation.

Heartland Old Guy, thanks for the detailed post. I'd like to add that many people jailed were based on false witnesses. We can't assume they were all guilty. It's systemic and planned sometimes.

I'm a right-wing conservative, so I don't have to think about anything. I already have all of the answers. if only people understood this, we could make America Great Again.

Vicki, I totally agree, this is not Facebook this is a quiz g as me

Somebody should tell our modern "journalists" that "Lying About Everything" is NOT INCLUDED in that particular Amendment !!!!
Lionessa
Heartland Old Guy, That is not true. The worst thing ever done to the American people is the intentional destruction of the American Public School System, and that has been done to them by other so-called Americans, the Liberal Left. Along with liberal secularism, our people have been destroyed by a creeping ignorance that has reached such a level that Americans under the age of 50 can no longer speak their Native tongue understandably.

Heartland Old Guy, at least while you can, some people want to turn America into a dictatorship! May God have mercy on our souls!

Please think very carefully about this comment before you vote. Will any candidate prevent you from speaking your mind? Who has made it dangerous to express your thoughts?
Vicki
Hi everyone ☺️!!! This is a really great game, and while I appreciate the awareness that is expressed, it's NOT a forum for political rhetoric. The world is coming to its end. Let's just enjoy the FEW moments we have. Thank you and have a great day.

Barbara, The Constitution is the only part of our government that's solid. The problems are with the people we've elected, not the founding principles.

Do you know all the amendments

Player #77083599, We do not have, and never have, had a democracy! America is a Republic... you know "for which it stands". They (the gov) would like you to think it's a democracy, but no.
We are a Republic.

Whether we get those rights still is a whole other story!
