Which of these perennial flowering plants is grown for its showy flower spikes?

I’m glad the answer was gladiolus! I come from a line of florists and flower growers. All flowers are beautiful and some with amazing characteristics, but it’s hard to beat the glads, so vibrant with all the different colors and they stand so tall and regal.
