The Kitsap base is quite nearby. Most of Kitsap County relies on that, the submarine base at Bangor and the shipyard. There are several large boats docked here. Quite impressive!

We have several bases in Kitsap County area, including the nuclear subs. The bases are nestled within hundreds of islands and peninsulas. I don't know how that does with today's tech, but the idea was to make the bases as hard to find as possible.
