Which French impressionist artist lived in Giverny?

I love all the impressionist painters and also the precursors, the school of Barbizon which included Corot, Rousseau , Millet and Daubigny. Many of this school were inspired by seeing Constable's Haywain and others on exhibit in the Paris salon.

I was pleased to see how much his colour vision improved after the cataracts were removed from his eyes.

Nice house of historical significance, but it’s his gardens that are inspirational.

This picture of the inside of his house, must be an old one. When I visited, there were pictures hanging ceiling to chairrail - in every room!

A most wonderful place to visit and see what inspired my favorite artist!
