Correct answer: General James Oglethorpe

Betsy
I knew there was a good reason why I'm so proud to be a Southern girl. Georgia blood born and raised and have never left the same small town! I have raised children and grandchildren here and they're proud too!!!

He also laid out the design for the city of Savannah. A beautiful city in Georgia we have only visited once but are going again. Each of the city squares has a park in the center. The building on the water where they sold the cotton is still standing.
I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ so I wasn't scared of the place. The history is all around you...you feel it! Trolley"s take you or you can stroll...loved it.

MetalCricket94018, nope, a lot of the original colony grants extended to the Pacific Ocean. look at some maps from that time.

Actually, when first settled it was known as a parish before being changed into a state. I take this info from historical maps had.
