He was on the U.S. Supreme Court, during the Warren Court, when numerous Court decisions totally changed the justice system: search and seizure, Miranda Warnings, the need for warrants, before the police could enter your home and search for whatever they wanted to. I wish I had been older, during that incredible legal history. At the time, the police and even citizens, like my father, were enraged by those decisions, insisting the police were being handcuffed. NOW most police shows rarely show police reading a suspect their Miranda warnings. I think most people have come to realize that those historical rulings, not only protect suspects, but also citizens.

SharkyChaz2018, I know enough to follow an officers requests to "keep your hands where I can see them" and not to act belligerent or talk down to said officer doing his job. Hardly ever hear about how many folks that are white shot by police but lordy when a black is hurt for resistance it's a major story. Why do we think anyone is more put upon than another. People need to be educated how to act when approached by "law dogs"
