In Greek Mythology, who was the messenger of the Gods?

Seriously people, it's a Trivia game. The point of this question is about mytology&knowledge and not religion. If you want to argue about religious themes there are specific forums for that. Greece existed in the ancient era and have that old roots while most of the countries/nations did not even exist back then. At least respect that. Mythology is part of ancient history and not a source of argument.

Very necessary to know for Art History ie. A rounded education. few persons strive to be able to speak intelligently about ancient culture, though.

All of you need to keep in mind that before they were considered "Mythology" they were "Religions" perhaps in a few centuries your "religions" might be considered "Mythologies" - To each their own.

I guessed this because of there's a delivery company called Hermes. Clever name!
