I learned that question and answer by watching one of favorite show Cake Boss. His staff, family, head bakeriers, and decoraters built a cake of this building for a couple who were getting married. The couple and families were from India. Plus the guest and family members that came to their wedding were over 4,000 friends, family, and friends.

The most important aspect about the Taj Mahal is that it was built my the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in honour of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal who died during childbirth. The emperor wanted the Taj Mahal to be constructed as a mausoleum for her.

nakahaki, I've also heard, and I'm not sure if it's been proven....but it is said that all the artists, sculpters, etc. all had their hands chopped off after the completion of the taj mahal so they would never again be able to build anything as beautiful...kinda messed up!
