I've had the pleasure of seeing one run alongside my car a few times - fun to watch - I gather from the answer "Greater Roadrunner" that there must be a "Lesser Roadrunner". Any comments?

when I moved to Arizona I was surprised by how small a roadrunner is.I was expecting it to be taller.lol I guess the cartoons fooled me

Qatwalk, Yes! Wile E. Coyote had the road runner tied up on a cooking stake rotisserie, and the road runner gave him the big sad eyes look! It ended with him kicking himself in his own behind as he walked away!

I took my family on a 32 state R.V. trip in the summer of 2008! 32 states in 3 months!! While driving through New Mexico the kids got excited because they kept seeing birds they swore were chasing us!🤣 I told them they were road runners chasing prey and such! I then had to listen to them singing the road runner song, and going "beep beep" until I finally told them we were in Texas to get them to stop!🥴🙄
