I don’t like it, but I have no choice.

Unnatural. The sun should be directly overhead at noon on each of the solstices. Changing time is unhealthy.

Today, daylight savings time is obsolete. It's no longer needed .

It needs to be eliminated!

Some states in Australia do daylight saving (New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia) while the rest do not (Western Australia, Queensland and The Northern Territory).

Jonesy, when my wife and I were dating, had to adjust from 14 hours to 16 hours, or vice versa, due to her living in Melbourne and I in the eastern US. Thankfully, she said yes, and we've remained happily married (mostly) over the last 22 years, in the same time zone!

DST is pointless and worthless, should not exist in 21st century.

Bigkev, it keeps children safer. Many children in less populated western and northwestern places are dropped at a main road to be picked up. Darkness leaves them easy prey to child predators. It one big reason that while Arizona doesnt observe DST, the huge Navajo Nation does. There are many places nation wide where farm roads are rutted, rocky dirt and buses dont go down them. Sometimes, a schedule is off, children not there, bus comes earlier, so just to be sure, kids are out on the main road earlier. Longer wait. There are no bus stop guards like cities have Crossing Guards.

Ray, it is in many places. Children in several states have very long waits at a common pick up area. DST keeps them from waiting in the dark, falling prey to child predators.

Nobby, no, you have it backwards, DST is putting it ahead in march, going back in November is just putting back to standard time, which I'm a proponent of leaving it there permanently, when DST is implemented in March it's dark out in the morning until 8 AM, not good with kids walking around and waiting on buses etc

Ray, when was it really ever "needed"

Surely 'Daylight Saving' is when the clocks go BACK in October; keeping it light in the mornings when the kids go to school - the clocks then go forward in the Spring, when the dawn breaks at an earlier hour.

✅️ The only viable reason left for doing that, ( I agree with ) is so children do not have to walk to the bus stop or school in the dARK...

It should be eradicated given that the majority of farmers now use GPS and even automated harvesters and clumsiness to do the work. That was the only reason it existed was for farmers to have kore light for harvesting. I've no idea why we kept the practice once technology advanced.
