I remember those debates like it was yesterday because of the anti-catholic bias against Kennedy for one issue as many others. It was my first election having just turned 21. My family was for Nixon. This was a turbulent time but Because I felt strongly about relevant issues about endangering our BILL OF RIGHTS I voted for JFK and never regretted it. Sadly because the Democratic Party left me, I will never ever vote for any of them, or watch the CNN (COMMUNIST NEWS NETWORK ) because socialism must never tear its ugly head in the USA.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸😔🙏🙏

The televised debate gave Kennedy the edge because he was young and attractive to the women. He was considered to have charisma that Nixon lacked.
