Egghead 73191, also when Bubbles got older and was hard to manage he would replace Bubbles with a younger Chimpanzee. It is sad that chimps are used as pets or in the entertainment industry. They have a short time to be young and soon become unmanageable. Bubbles was “retired” to The Center for Great Apes in Florida, a nonprofit organization. It takes a lot of time and money to provide care for chimps who deserve an appropriate environment.

did it occur to you that possibly he didn't visit because it would have been painful to see his pet caged? chimpanzees do become aggressive as they mature and have massive strength..about 4 times that of a human.. they are not meant to be pets..

I totally blew this—Never did I see Michael Jackson (by the way a great singer and dancer) I saw a picture of the chimp and actually thought of Clint Eastwood and the movie. Still am I am red because that was no chimp but an Orangutan, Right? LOL!
