The designer/architect built a small apartment in it about halfway up, and lived in it until he died! The apartment is still there and they conduct tours for those who want to see it!

I have thought to mention that seemingly, the design is/was based upon the compositional structure/internal, interconnectivity of 'the' skeletal system (of bone tissue); as can be observed within biological/organic life-forms; where strength, and rigidity, are combined within a form that results within a highly efficient means of weight distribution (light-weight); yet without compromising the characteristics/properties mentioned prior (akin to the 'silk' substance as produced by arachnids, within webbing etc.) or presumably so; in addition, seemingly the Japanese 'Tokyo Tower'; is likely of similar origins; an architectural design possibly based upon the building of the subject as present within this question.

But the French soon went back to their old ways by allowing a dictator, Napoleon, to be in charge. I took French in school so I could one day go to France and explain to them how they messed up. But, the United States would not have declared Independence, had it not been for the French Revolution. We took a lot from them and eventually asked them to help us win Independence from the UK
