Petma08, we had one for a few years. they live long. our Joe loved his bath, and imitated our kids and kitten. after hubby and I divorced, he'd kept Joe, but his 2nd wife forgot his in his cage overnight outside and a neighbor dog killed him.

People may not realize, but myna birds as pets can make their cages very dirty and stinky, and cages need cleaned every day.
