What is unique about the myna birds?
Correct answer: Produce sounds, including human speech, when in captivity

Petma08
They can imitate most anything in their environment, such as construction equipment or a crying baby. Pretty cool.

my Myna would talk nasty and moan like my Wife sometimes

Nobby
Many species of Parrot and Crow, also reproduce human speech etc. when in captivity - so Mynahs are not 'unique' in this capacity.

Petma08, we had one for a few years. they live long. our Joe loved his bath, and imitated our kids and kitten. after hubby and I divorced, he'd kept Joe, but his 2nd wife forgot his in his cage overnight outside and a neighbor dog killed him.

People may not realize, but myna birds as pets can make their cages very dirty and stinky, and cages need cleaned every day.

I knew a family that had a pair of them when I was growing up. One would repeat his name, "forever more" when asked, the other one would repeat curse words when asked!
