The worst rubbish I ever saw. Remove barriers and the sick, those unable or unwilling to work, the unskilled and criminals will all head to countries with good benefit systems ( like the UK ) and totally overwhelm us as we sink into bankruptcy. Its happening know with people smugglers extorting money from desperate people and landing them on our beaches in their _thousands_. Their home countries (esp China) dont want them back and so delay and delay issuing new passports (they often destroy their own before arriving) which gives them many months to "disappear" and get false papers. Many are exploited by the traffickers and end up in virtual slave labour conditions. The traffickers often keep their ID papers and wont return them, forceing them to work for a pittance. The only answer is to aid their countries so they dont want to leave - but that would mean overthrowing harsh regimes,, military dictatorships and corrupt politicians - a totally impossible interference in sovereign countries. Those unpleasant countries are those who benefit - they get rid of their ' burdensome' citizens.
