I think Batman is best in comic books or in a cartoon. I find actors playing these characters kinda awkward. But as a child of another time, Adam West is Batman. Silly show, but wonderfully silly...

Yana, I loved Burgess Meredith's Penguin, Caesar Romero's Joker, Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt as Catwoman. Frank Gorshin's Riddler was the only one who seemed like a really chilling psychopath, great performance, but creepy. Most of the rest, like Cliff Robertson as Shame, I thought were kind of lame. The villains really made the show.
