Hhh46za, there's two things that you can do to learn to see these constellations in the sky. First go to the children's section of the library and check out a book. Yes check out a children's book do not use the internet it will not be as helpful. Secondly get yourself a decent pair of binoculars you can get them for thirty bucks somewhere. go out we have a decent shot at seeing these things and look around. Bring a friend

Hhh46za, I had a hard time seeing some constellations at first also. If you can find an astronomy club near you, they would be happy to point them out. I used to trace out the constellations with a laser pointer.

Where I live there is so much light pollution that most stars are blocked out, but on clear nights, Cassiopeia, Orion and The Plough constellations are always easy to see.

I am in South Africa, so I am unfamiliar with this constellation. We have Orion's belt and the Southern Cross.
