He may have been a creep to some people but he was a marvelous piano player.

Whaler 55, in 1972 I was the Secretary to the Director of an Art Museum. One of my responsibilities was to occasionally go to the post office. When the PO Clerk found out who I worked for he had quite a story to tell me about the previous secretary, who had worked at the Art Museum for 20 years. As the story goes, she had been a huge Liberace fan. And she had very frequently received mail from Liberace to the extent that the Clerk noticed it and then later remarked on it to me. Liberace was wonderful to his fans.
