prince emoney , In England it is a very common tree, I have a beautiful Silver Birch in my garden in Shropshire. We call it a Silver Birch because of the bark colour, unique here, but quite common in Australia, ( Eucalyptus Trees) It's a favourite with "my" garden birds. The tree is very tall with an "open" canopy, so it gives a dappled shade for the plants below. Sorry for waffling on, but it is my favorite tree.
