Starfish, not only was he a peanut farmer, but when he was elected president, he sold the family peanut farms that had been in his family for generations so that there could be no hint of his getting money for any legislation favoring peanut farmers. I am not pointing fingers, but contrast that with another recent president seeking the office again who kept all his businesses and real estate venture. He also stayed on his properties , and overcharged his secret service people to stay in his hotels. Jimmy Carter was probably one of the most moral and deeply religious president's we have ever had. He was also one of the most ineffective. I don't say there us a correlation...
