Where was Lyndon B. Johnson when he was sworn in as US President?

missy189, he had just signed an order that would have essentially overthrown the reserved banking (Ferdal Reserve) the first thing johnson did when he was sworn in was over turning that order. It would not surprise me if johnson had a hand in the assassination.

JFK was a great President he really cared about our country...We need someone like him now...

JFK was an awesome President! We will never know the real truth as to why he was killed so horribly in front of his wife. Just like they're trying to do to President Trump. The swamp of corrupt politicians will stoop to any scum level to keep the status quo of corruption going so they can continue to make millions illegally. They don't give a damn about us! They are all criminals! God will make sure these losers get what they deserve in the end.

The plane was Airforce One. It is also important to note that The justice was the first female to swear in a president witch is a big deal for that time period. Johnson was in the motorcade a few card behind Kennedy and stayed at the hospital far longer then secret service were comfortable with. It is during this administration that the Dems and Republicans made a switch in party politics. Johnson chose to continue Kennedy’s civil rights policies angering many southern democrats who then decided to abdicate to the republican party. One more important thing we learn from this question is that law does not require you to be sworn in on a bible. Due to religious freedom when a politician is sworn in it is on an item of their own choosing. Most choose the bible because it is traditional. Johnson was a great president he inherited Vietnam from Kennedy and that was a huge blight on his presidency.

I remember vividly when JFK was shot. I was coming back from class to dorms at college when some said our president was shot. I thought they were joking and told them so. Classes were canceled and school closed down for the remainder of the week. the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Brew, Technically the plane wasn't air force one until he was sworn in. Air force one is a call sign used when the president is on board, not the name of the plane.

Mcrazie19, I was 9 years old at that time. It was the saddest time (even for most of the world!). Personally, I think this and other events started the “moral decline” of the Country. Don’t get me wrong, I love the USA and I know of no other. I like seeing opinions here: though I disagree, they have their right. I wish we could all be one and be so polarized. I love this game; the mental exercises, people’s commentaries; as aforementioned. Hat’s off to the developers of thi trivia game! Again; if ever time to be respectful to one another; it is now, KEEP THE PEACE, HOLD ON AND PERSEVERE, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN!
