sorry, I messed up...
thinking that he was perhaps some sorta duck, ... well, I could understand, although he does have a closer resemblance to Roy Rooster than Wade Duck [reference to US Acres from "Garfield and Friends" cartoon show from the early 1990s].
Also, remember how they basically used the character model for Wile E Coyote when they had those cartoons with the wolf and the sheepdog?

yep, roadrunners are birds. also, remember that looney tunes cartoon where porky pig goes to wackyland to finally the last dodo bird? That was a classic. roadrunners are birds. thunderbirds are go. thundercats are snarfed?

too bad one of the most well-known cartoon characters never really got a full-on formal nat off duck or something like that, ..

Side note: I've never heard them say "Beep Beep"....
