Where is Thor's Well?

Would love to see it Must look it up.

Been there several times (live in Oregon). It amazing and beautiful, but quite a bit smaller than it looks in the photo.

Darn. I watched forever, the waves at Devil's Churn, but didn't know or see this one. There were signs saying, "Danger. Stay back. Falling in could be fatal." Should read WILL be fatal!

"...off the coast of central Oregon..." is incorrect. In Oregon we call it the central Oregon coast. Central Oregon refers to the middle of our state where there is no ocean. I hope that makes sense. Our beaches and ocean views are amazing!

You have to visit it at low tide. There are many other beautiful sites very near as well.

am surprised it's not in Norway, coz that's where Thor comes from isn't it? or maybe the residents of Oregon are distant relatives of the ancient god! dunno

How cool I’ve never heard of this!! Wow wud love to see it but OR & I do not get along! Went once & had to go thru grants pass, at midnight in the heavy snow in “March” which we & they were not expecting, cuz it never snows late March the residents told us, & it was a sudden they claimed! So I have no desire to ever go that far north ever again! If I was meant to live in snow God wud of made me an Eskimo! I’m a Calif Beach girl thru & thru! I don’t like cold weather & cuz be in the heat & sun no problem cuz we have the beach 16 miles south & if I ever do want mountains & snow that about the same distance, (or close anyway), in the opposite direction if I want it!! I don’t but they’re there! All in one day, IF i want too!
