I am lucky enough to live in the Pacific Northwest near some very nice areas for Morels. I don’t particularly enjoy hunting for them, but have a friend who thoroughly loves mushroom hunting. But she doesn’t like mushrooms, so she always brings them to me! I just cook them with a bit of butter and fresh garlic. Drooling now! 😋

nimblemoon, Interesting side note: I live in Florida, and have mushrooms growing around my property. I was surprised to see a Gray Squirrel eating a mushroom. I always thought they were poisonous. Maybe the squirrel was getting a buzz???
